Alan S. Bishop, O.D.

Welcome to Easton Eye Care & Optical.  I joined the practice in 2000 and recently acquired the practice to become the sole owner.  I look forward to building upon the strong foundation and reputation that the practice has earned during the last 30+ years of serving the Mid-Shore of Maryland.

I am native to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and graduated from Easton High School.  My undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Delaware where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree.  I completed my doctoral training at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, including an externship program at the Bascom Palmer Eye Hospital.  I am active in the American Optometric Association and currently serve as President of the Maryland Eastern Shore Optometric Society.  I have nine years of experience in private practice and see patients in both Easton and Cambridge.  As a primary care optometrist, my clinical expertise is the diagnosis, treatment and management of eye diseases and visual disorders.  We offer several options in vision correction including glasses, contact lenses and laser vision consultation.

Stanley A. Feinblum, O.D.

As the founder of the practice and a forth generation optometrist, please accept my warmest welcome.  During the last 30+ years we have worked diligently to establish a highly regarded eye care & optical practice.  We are dedicated to provide you and your family with friendly service and high quality care in a comfortable & compassionate environment. 

I recieved my Bachelor’s Degree and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. I trained and worked as an Optician during my graduate education and first opened the doors to the existing practice in December, 1975 in Cambridge, MD. 

I have recently sold my ownership interest in the practice to my partner, Dr. Alan Bishop and I look forward to continuing my clinical work without the rigors of ownership.  I’m planning to help grow the medical capabilities of the pratice over the next decade and enjoy more leisure time with my wife and family.  My current interests include scuba diving, bicycling and travel.
