Dr. Bishop named “Young Optometrist of the Year” for Maryland!
Dr. Alan Bishop of Easton Eye Care & Optical was recognized as the Maryland Optometric Association’s (MOA) Young Optometrist of the Year during the association’s annual awards luncheon held on December 2.
Bishop has been actively involved with the MOA in advancing eye care in Maryland throughout his career; he currently serves as the Eastern Shore Optometric Society President. He receives this honor in recognition of his demonstrated leadership as a past member of the MOA Board of Directors and for his participation in re-establishing the Eastern Shore Optometric Society.

Jun 21, 2007 – Ribbon Cutting Event Celebrating Dr. Alan Bishop as New Owner
The Talbot County Chamber of Commerce sponsored a Ribbon Cutting event to mark the leadership transition. Dr. Feinblum, who founded the practice over thirty years ago, will continue working with the practice for years to come. Local dignataries, patients, employees, family & friends celebrated with a champagne toast and congratulations.
May 11, 2007 – EASTON EYE CARE and OPTICAL CELEBRATES LEADERSHIP CHANGE
Dr. Alan Bishop and Dr. Stanley Feinblum are celebrating the transfer of ownership from a joint partnership to sole ownership. Dr. Bishop has become the sole owner of EASTON EYE CARE and OPTICAL. Dr. Feinblum will remain with the practice for many years to come and is looking forward to pursuing recreational interests like scuba diving and golf with his wife Teri.
